My son and I adopted Alice Cooper and Freddie Cooper and they are settling in nicely in our home. They have excellent litter box skills and eat and play with gusto. We are slowly earning Freddie’s trust, and he often dashes under a bed when we move around the house. When we are still, he is right there with us, sometimes purring quite happily. Alice has gotten comfortable more quickly and is leading the way in exploring the house for Freddie, who is often right behind Alice.
So far, I think the adjustment period is going well. We are adjusting to their nocturnal schedule and will encourage them to get their snuggle and play time with us before our bedtime rather than at 2 am. I am sure we will get there eventually.
