How can you say no to Rover’s big eyes? (Answer: you can’t.)

I am emailing just to give an update on Petey and Rover. I had waited until today as they had their first vet appointment this morning. We really appreciate the fantastic job Kari did with these two cats.  They are so well socialized around both people and other cats.  Even our vet and tech commented on how sweet they were.

Also, I am not sure of the volunteer’s name that connected me to Petey and Rover when I first visited Angel’s Wish on Saturday, November 3.  I had a short list of cats I was interested in from your web page, and Petey and Rover were not on my list. But I told her I was looking for a pair of cats that would be comfortable around other cats, and affectionate towards humans. She directed me right to Petey and Rover and they are just perfect! We adore them.

The adjustment here has gone really well.  They are fully socialized with our other two cats, Boo and Jasper. Since this past Sunday we no longer confine them at all during the day. At night we do, but that is due to our allergies. We don’t allow cats in our bedroom, and so Jasper and Boo have their “apartment” at night, and Petey and Rover have theirs. They are very affectionate cats and love to snuggle, or rub against us, or at least stay in the room with us most of the time.

Both cats were very friendly at the vets, and Petey gave the tech a nose-on-nose rub just as he did the first time I met him. Rover is aptly named as he is literally “all over”. Petey is very active too!

Overall they are doing well, and have already fully integrated themselves into our heart and home. We are so happy to have adopted them!  I have attached one photo showing Tim sitting with Jasper and Boo, and Rover is trying to get his cheese and crackers.   Petey was sleeping under the love seat in another room, but I managed to get a video of him after he came out.

 Thank you!
