Grace and I live in Madison and began volunteering at Angel’s Wish shortly after Grace turned 12 (the age at which you can begin volunteering). We both love animals. We currently have an almost 15 year old dog, an almost 16 year old cat, and a dwarf frog. Prior to volunteering we stopped in from time to time to see the kitties since we live near by. My mother, Julie (Grace’s Grandma), has two cats that were adopted from Angel’s Wish – formerly Juniper and Hickory, now Alli and Lilli. Originally, this was to be a volunteer opportunity for Grace but as it turned out we love volunteering together and I am so happy that this has turned into a volunteering opportunity for both of us.
One of the most satisfying things about volunteering at Angel’s Wish is seeing the cats/kittens find loving homes. The dedicated volunteers at Angel’s Wish are really inspiring. Such a great group of people doing so much for our feline friends.
