Join Us for Clear The Shelters: Find Your New Furry Friend!
From August 10 to September 10, NBCUniversal Local is partnering with hundreds of animal organizations across the country to host Clear The Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign dedicated to finding loving homes for animals in need. Since 2015, this initiative has helped over 1 million pets find their forever families.
While Angel’s Wish isn’t a traditional shelter, we play a crucial role in helping hundreds of shelter animals each year by bringing them into our foster-based organization. When you adopt from us, you’re not just welcoming a new companion into your life—you’re also making space for more animals in need.
We’re on a mission to find homes for all of the adoptable cats and kittens in our care by this weekend. But our biggest hope is to finally place the cats who’ve been waiting the longest. We’ve recently added some new faces to our Forget-Me-Nots, and we’re also spotlighting the kittens who have spent too much of their young lives in foster care, waiting for their perfect match.
To help these deserving pets find homes, our Forget-Me-Nots always have reduced adoption fees, and for this special event, the adoption fees for our longest-waiting kittens are $50 off!
Kittens with reduced adoption fees this weekend only can be identified with a special banner on their photos on our available animals page, like Sandler below!

Green banner kittens will be available at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturday, Sept. 7th from 10am to 2:30pm.
Yellow banner kittens will be available at Petsamart East Madison on Sunday, Sept. 8th from noon to 3pm.
