Featured leadership opportunity: Board member

Angel’s Wish board members provide leadership and strategic direction to an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing animal overpopulation, rehoming companion animals, and raising awareness of animal welfare issues in South Central Wisconsin. The board is the legal and fiduciary authority for the organization, comprised of a cross section of people dedicated to the mission of Angel’s Wish. Angel’s Wish has a “working board” that is deeply committed to the work of the organization and provides active leadership for committees, day-to-day oversight, and direct volunteer hours.

Youth Volunteers

Kids are welcome as volunteers as well! Please refer to our Youth Volunteer page for more information on how kids can volunteer, including with their families!

Group Volunteers

As Angel’s Wish volunteer foster homes provide the day-to-day care of our animals, we are unable to provide any group volunteer opportunities that work directly with our animals. However, we do have another opportunity that still help our animals! Angel’s Wish is always looking to tell more people about our adoptable animals, microchipping, retail store, and volunteer opportunities. We have over 5,000 brochures to be distributed throughout the community. With this volunteer opportunity, your group will start by stapling a small sheet of upcoming events/coupons/etc. to our brochure–at our adoption center, your workplace, or wherever is convenient! Then, you will go out in the community–without knocking on doors or ringing doorbells–and place our brochure under doormats. This activity can be done anywhere in Dane County.  This event can happen on your time frame, and can be as small or big as you want. Contact if interested in this opportunity.
