With our unseasonably warm weather, we have been seeing an increase in found cats. Keeping your cat inside is the best way to decrease the possibility of heartache due to your kitty getting lost, stolen, or worse. Even a fenced yard will not keep most cats in.
There are so many threats outdoors, including infections and diseases from cat fights, cars, coyotes, fox and birds of prey. Your cat can also pick up parasites from animals they eat or encounter, such as worms, ticks, fleas and more.
Please keep your cat safe by keeping him or her inside, and have them microchipped so your chances of being reunited increase should they get outdoors.
